This week's photo challenge at I Heart Faces is From a Distance. I knew exactly what picture I would choose as soon as I read the challenge description. I absolutely love stars and everything about them. I love to stand outside on a clear night and just take a deep breath and relax while looking at the billions of stars above. So I have had it in my mind to take a startrails picture for awhile now. I waited for a perfectly clear night with no moon and warm temperatures so I wouldn't freeze. Just last week, everything lined up perfectly. So Lewis and I trekked out for a startrail silouhette picture. The picture is actually 127 thirty second exposures all stacked together to form the final image. Lewis was such a trooper standing out there with me trying our best to be motionless for over an hour..........what a guy!!! :) Here is the result.
Gorgeous! WTG!
