When I saw that the photo challenge for I Heart Faces was Hands I knew I had the perfect picture to enter. This summer I was photographing a beautiful girl for her senior pictures. I knew she had a great love for singing so I brought along a microphone to help us capture a few shots that truly were her.

I Heart Faces Props Challenge
This week at I Heart Faces the photo challenge is props. I just recently did a 6 month photo shoot with an adorable little man and thought a few of his photos would be a perfect fit in this category. I settled on one using my new monkey hat. This hat just seemed to suit him perfectly.

I Heart Faces "Let's Hear it for the Boys!"
This weekend was Father's day so this weeks challenge at I Heart Faces is Let's hear it for the boys. Lincoln and I decided to take a cute little picture to give to Daddy over the weekend and that is the picture I chose. I got Lincoln all dressed up in Daddy's shirt, tie, and hat and snapped a few. Needless to say his facial expressions are that only a father (or mother) could love....Haha!

I Heart Faces From a Distance Challenge
This week's photo challenge at I Heart Faces is From a Distance. I knew exactly what picture I would choose as soon as I read the challenge description. I absolutely love stars and everything about them. I love to stand outside on a clear night and just take a deep breath and relax while looking at the billions of stars above. So I have had it in my mind to take a startrails picture for awhile now. I waited for a perfectly clear night with no moon and warm temperatures so I wouldn't freeze. Just last week, everything lined up perfectly. So Lewis and I trekked out for a startrail silouhette picture. The picture is actually 127 thirty second exposures all stacked together to form the final image. Lewis was such a trooper standing out there with me trying our best to be motionless for over an hour..........what a guy!!! :) Here is the result.

I Heart Faces Best Face of May
This week's challenge at I Heart Faces is the Best Face of May. The picture I choose for the challenge is of my son Lincoln. This picture is what happens when Mommy and Lincoln have a free afternoon and some sidewalk chalk to play with.

I Heart Faces Soft and Sweet Challenge
The photo challenge this week at I Heart Faces is Soft and Sweet. I just recently took a picture that describes that perfectly. I took it of my niece, Breanne, and I absolutely love it. I love the expression on her face, the clean and soft outline of her chin, how her hair is not perfect. Just love it! Hope everyone else does too!
